We are committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of the children and people of all ages in our church community.
It is important that you tell us if something is upsetting you or if you are feeling worried about something that’s happening or something somebody is doing.

If you need to contact someone regarding a disclosure or potentially abusive situation, please contact Sylvia.
Sylvia can also help with safer recruitment to roles within the church, safeguarding checks and best practice in church activities.
If you wish to speak to someone outside the church or parish, you can contact the diocesan safeguarding team.
Domestic Abuse
Herts Sunflower is a “hub” and central branding for co-ordinated and trusted county-wide domestic abuse related services and support. Sylvia Mann, our Parish Safeguarding Officer, is a trained volunteer (J9 Champion) with the Herts Sunflower and is able to signpost victims and survivors of domestic abuse confidentially to where they can seek help and, if needed, a place of safety.
