We love welcoming new children to our mid-week after school groups, to Toddlers, and our Sunday clubs running every week alongside the 10.30am service.
Meet the team
We have 3 groups for children on Sundays, running alongside our 10:30am service, see below info:
Pebbles is our Sunday creche session for children who are 0-Y1, and takes place in the Children’s Room in the Junction. Here we share a snack and juice, a Bible story, craft, songs and free-play. The main service is streamed into the room so that parents/carers may stay in Pebbles with their children if they wish, or they may “Kiss & fly” – leaving their children in the capables hands of our volunteer team so that they may re-join the main service in church.
Minis & Maxis are our groups for children in years 1-2 & 3-5. These sessions are held in Christ Church School just next door to the church and run by a wonderful serving team. We begin our time each Sunday in the main service with the whole church family for opening worship, before heading over to the school for games, an action song, Bible teaching, crafts and biscuits & juice.
Once a month, we return early to the main church service to join in the act of Holy Communion with the adults & youth.
We always welcome more members of our church family to come and serve on the Children’s team on a Sunday! We have great fun getting to know our children and seeing them grow under God’s love!

During school term-time, we also run groups throughout the week for children & families to engage in:
From 10-11:30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Toddlers welcome parents, carers & little ones from birth until the end of the term in which they reach the age of 3. The groups include free play, a simple craft activity, snack time and circle-time where we sing songs with actions and have a Bible story.
Tea and coffee are available for the adults, but we ask that a drink and a NUT FREE snack is brought for each child, who is old enough.
Registration info:
The termly fee is £15 for each child and £5 per term for each additional child from the same family. Please use the button to register your child and join the waiting list. If you would like to register a second child, please press the button again and complete a separate form. All our emails come from toddlers@cccw.org.uk.
In order to comply with our strict safeguarding policy, the parent or legal guardian of the child must complete the registration form and also attend with the child when they are brought to the first session. We are happy fora grandparents, nanny or childminder to come to that first session as well, if they are bringing the child regularly to the sessions – their name and contact details should be entered in the notes section at the end of the registration form.

Running in the Junction at church, Lighthouse is our after-school group for children in years 1-3. At Lighthouse we make time for a snack & drink, fun & interactive Christian teaching, a craft and group games.
For those who attend Christ Church School just next-door, we pick up directly from school at 3:15pm, and ask that parents arrive to pick up at 4:45pm.
At Lighthouse & Illuminate, we ask for a contribution of £15 per-term for each child to cover the costs of food & care. To sign up children to either after-school group, please email: children@cccw.org.uk.
Similarly, Illuminate is our after-school group for children in years 4-5. Here, we make time to let off some steam, to have a snack & a drink, engage in fun & interactive Christian teaching, and play games together.

CHRISTENINGS / BAPTISMS / THANKSGIVINGS
We welcome families into church to celebrate the arrival of a new child through a service of Baptism, sometimes called Christening. A service of Thanksgiving that includes a blessing is also offered as an alternative. We’d also be delighted to offer Baptism for those who have come to faith in Christ at any age or stage in life.
