We love welcoming new children to our mid-week groups and our Sunday clubs running every week alongside the 10.30am service.
Christ Church Toddlers is run by an amazing team of volunteer Christian mums and friends. We have groups on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings every week during the term time of Christ Church Primary School. Each session starts at 10:00am and ends at 11:30am in the Children’s Room on the ground floor of the Junction building attached to the church. We welcome little ones from birth until the end of the term in which they reach the age of three.
Our Toddler group consists of free play, and a simple craft activity. After tidying everything away fifteen minutes before the end of the session, we have Circle Time – where we sing songs with actions, and have a story. Tea and coffee are available for the adults, but we ask that a drink and a NUT FREE snack is brought for each child.
We charge a small fee of £15 per term for each child and £5 per term for each additional child from the same family. To apply for a place the parent or legal guardian of the child should complete the registration form, even if the child will be brought to the group by someone else (aged 18 or over).
Please use the button below to register your child and join the waiting list. If you would like to register a second child, please press the button again and complete a separate form. We will let you know straight away if we have spaces. All our emails about toddlers come from firstname.lastname@example.org– please put this address in your contacts to avoid our emails ending up in your Junk or SPAM folders.
To register for a place:
In order to comply with our strict safeguarding policy, the parent or legal guardian of the child must complete the registration form and also attend with the child when they are brought to the first session.
We are very happy for a grandparent, professional nanny or child minder to come to that first session as well if they will be bringing the child regularly to the sessions. Their name and contact details should be entered in the notes section at the end of the registration form.

Lighthouse is our after-school club for those in years 1-3 – this group is open to children from all schools. We meet at The Junction on Wednesdays between 3:15 (school finish time) and 4:45. We pick children up from Christ Church school, and we ask that parents/carers pick them up at 4.45pm (or we can drop them back at Sunrise/Sunset at Christ Church School).
At lighthouse we have so much fun! Our sessions include a craft, games, a snack as well as a short reflection.
Illuminate is our after school club for those in years 4 & 5 and is open to children from all schools. We meet at The Junction on Thursdays between 3:15 (school finish time) and 5pm. We pick children up from Christ Church school, and we ask that parents/carers pick them up at 5pm (or we can drop them back at Sunrise / Sunset at Christ Church School).
At illuminate we love to grow deeper in our relationships with each other and God. We start with a bit of free time where there are a choice of activities, football is a firm favourite, along with crafts and games! We then gather together for a snack before we go deeper into the Bible.
On Sundays, we offer kids groups for all ages from 0 to early teens running alongside our 10.30am service. We are also developing Pebbles (our creche facility for pre-school tots) into a “Kiss and fly” system to enable parents to re-join the main service after drop-off.
Arrive in church and a member of the team and stewards will be able to help you out.

CHRISTENINGS / BAPTISMS / THANKSGIVINGS
We welcome families into church to celebrate the arrival of a new child through a service of Baptism, sometimes called Christening. A service of Thanksgiving that includes a blessing is also offered as an alternative. We’d also be delighted to offer Baptism for those who have come to faith in Christ at any age or stage in life. Please get in touch with the Church Office if you would like to have a chat about this. email@example.com
