We had a great time at our family fun day on Saturday! We had so many people from the community come and join us to have fun with inflatables, learn about our history, get nails done, eat burgers and hot dogs and so much more!

It was great to see the church buzzing as we celebrated our 150th anniversary!

We’ll have games, a bouncy castle, bbq, a youth zone, a pamper zone, and in the church a peaceful area with a history display and afternoon teas.

All as a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the current Christ Church building.

We will be welcoming big and small families, families with kids and families without, families of 1 and families of 10 and everyone in between!

If you are keen on football then why not join us this Sunday for our normal 6pm service followed by a Euros Final watch party to cheer on England!

We’ll be gathering as normal at 6pm to worship and hear from the bible as Tim Koh preaches on David’s prayer for guidance, then at 8pm accompanied by burgers, hot dogs and snacks we’ll be cheering on England as a church family. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks too!

We had such a wonderful time last night celebrating together as six wonderful people either got baptised or renewed their baptismal vows through full immersion or sprinkling.

We loved coming together to hear about how God has impacted these people and has worked in their lives, it was so encouraging!

What an evening!

Join us for a lively mix of show tunes and classical pieces in church featuring the wonderful London Soprano Joanne McGahon with a long interval for you to bring and enjoy your picnic – tables and chairs provided outside the Junction if warm or inside if it rains. If you’re not sure where to go with your food, there’s an open invitation to head straight for the vicar’s table. He has plenty of space!

Join us for the 6pm this Sunday as we gather together for our normal evening service. It will be followed by a watch party for England’s first Euros game of the campaign at 8pm accompanied by FREE burgers and soft drinks. We’d love to gather together as a community to watch and support England, so do come along to the service to worship and hear from the bible and then to the game to support and have fun together. Why not invite a friend or two along too! Feel free to bring your own alcohol and snacks!

Does your young person play an instrument? Do they sing? Do they want to learn an instrument? Why not let them join the youth band jam on Saturday 8th June at 2pm (this Saturday!)?

Open to all youth, all abilities! The aim is to get together play some music, we’ll chat about what worship is too and have some fun!

He is a Christian thinker and cultural apologist, Founder and President of the Ezra Institute for Contemporary Christianity.

Here at Christ Church we have a wide variety of services for you to choose from.

8:30am - Traditional Communion Service

10:30am - Morning Worship with Children’s and Youth Groups

6pm - Evening Contemporary Service - worship, talk and community

**Please note our 12pm service has taken a pause over the summer due to outdoor services, events and it gives us a chance to think about what the future for that service looks like, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

🌊 BAPTISMS AT CHRIST CHURCH 🌊

We all come from different starting points to faith in Jesus Christ. If you have come to faith or come back to faith recently, we would love to celebrate this with you and are holding a baptism service at Christ Church at 6.00pm on Sunday 30 June.

At this service we will be offering baptism by sprinkling or full emersion for those who have not been previously baptised. We are also offering the option of re-affirmation of baptism vows with water or Public Affirmation of Faith for those previously baptised. This last option is a less formal alternative to Confirmation carried out in a parish context.

We warmly encourage you to think about publicly declaring your faith, even if you are unsure about how you would like to do it!

Please contact our vicar David Hall or your home/Anchor group leader for an informal chat. There will be a preparation morning running 9.30am to 12.00 noon on Saturday 8 June.

We’ve been watching what’s been happening across the country as people gather together with a hunger for God to move, seeking revival in our nation, we wanted to join and express how much we want Jesus!

This Sunday we will be gathering together for a worship and prayer night to seek Jesus and worship him, pray for him to love and work in different situations and places.

So join us for a worship and prayer evening as we seek him, we’re back in church and we’re opening the space for you to come and connect with God how ever you feel comfortable.

Detonate 2024!

We love coming together to put on Detonate every year for so many primary school kids! But we need your help!

Detonate is run by amazing volunteers from refreshments team to small group leaders to activity helpers. It takes a willing and great team to put this week on so so many kids can come have fun and learn about Jesus!
