Growing One Another – A Discipleship Course
We are delighted to be restarting our Thursday evening Discovery programme with a course on discipleship.
As you will be aware, the church has been looking afresh at our Vision, with a renewed emphasis on Discipleship. In support of this, we will be running a course on Discipleship. The course is “Growing One Another: Discipleship in the Church” and is part of the 9Marks of a healthy church series.
The course will be run over 7 weeks in person on Thursday evenings in the Junction in October and November and will be led by Terence Russoff and Nic Wolf.
It will run on 7th, 14th and 21st October, and 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th November. Each evening will start at 7.30 pm with light refreshments and will finish by 8.45 pm.
The course consists of seven sessions: need for discipleship; definition of discipleship; motivation for discipleship; means of discipleship – following godly examples; means of discipleship – teaching one another; enemy of discipleship; end of discipleship.
To complement the course, the morning sermon series at the 8.30am and 10.30am services in October and November will be focused on Discipleship and reflect the principal themes from this course. In addition, home groups are being encouraged to run the course. Recordings of the sermons will be on a the page devoted to recent sermons.
This promises to be a really interesting course. If you would like to attend, then please sign up using the button below. And if you have any questions, then please contact Terence Russoff or Nic Wolf
