Kids of All Ages

An older generation called it Sunday School. We call it Scramblers, Climbers and Explorers. More fun. Plus Pebbles, which is a sort of creche.  Come a little bit earlier than the 10:30 service to register your child. Then you all go into church. The kids are taken out for their groups after the first ten or fifteen minutes of the service.

You can safely leave those aged 0-3 in Pebbles. There are craft activities, story time and plenty of toys. If the helpers need you to come to your child, a message flashes up on the screen in the main church to alert you.

The other three groups depend on the ages of the children.

Age 3-Reception: Scramblers
Years 1&2: Climbers
Years 3-5: Explorers
In these groups we love looking at God’s word. We have games or crafts and spend time praying and worshipping.

There are slightly different arrangements on Sundays during the Summer holidays.

Lighthouse is one of our weekday group, on Wednesdays, for those who are in Years 1,2 & 3. We meet at the Junction from 3:15pm – 4:30pm. We explore the many stories in the Bible that teach us about things that may happen to us or around us. And we love to do crafts and games here too, as well as getting to know one another.

Illuminate is the other of our weekday groups for those in Years 4 & 5 to meet together on Mondays, to belong to a community and to go deeper into faith in creative ways. We meet at the Junction from 3:15pm- to 5pm. There are games and crafts and we pray together and explore what the Bible means for us.
