Join us for our Traditional 9 Lessons & Carols Service – we’ll sing carols together, led by a wonderful choir and accompanied by classical instruments, enjoy a talk and hear the story of Christmas told through bible readings.

Please note: this is one of our busiest services of the year, so please treat all our team (particularly the car parking team) with patience & kindness. You may be required to sit in an overflow room when the church is full.

christmas youth takeover

Christmas Eve - 24th Dec

Christmas Eve

Check out what Christmas Eve is like at Christ Church by watching some clips from Christmas 2024.

This gives you a great insight to one of the busiest days of our year, but also one of the best!

Living Nativity

Join us for what is probably our most well-attended service of the year with over 400 others!

Join us on Christmas Eve (24th Dec), from 11am as we celebrate what is to come with the birth of Jesus and what it means. Oh, and did we mention… with live animals!

Yes – we will be joined with live animals in the churchyard as we act out the Nativity story, so do come along with the family and bring your children dressed up as a Nativity character ready to join in with the fun!

Bring a chair, family and friends and join the fun!

Carols by candlelight

We will be having two carol services by candlelight on Christmas Eve (24th Dec).

Carols by Candlelight 1: 4pm

Carols by Candlelight 2: 6pm

Due to Carols by Candlelight at 4pm being our busiest indoor service on Christmas Eve, we’ve added a second service at 6pm.

Both are a great opportunity to come together, sing some carols, hear a message of hope and reflect on what Christmas truly means.

Do come along and join us for a wonderful service.

midnight mass

Join us for our final Christmas Eve (24th Dec) service from 11:30pm.

We will join together to sing, reflect, share communion and pray as we welcome in Christmas Day and think about the meaning of Jesus’ coming.

A wonderful service for community as we welcome in Christmas Day together as a family, we’d love to have you join us whether you attend Christ Church or not!
